CLASSROOM TRAINING COURSE ON CE MARKING FOR GATES AND DOORS
This course is intended for:
Primarily for metalworkers, blacksmiths, and frame manufacturers who produce gates and doors and wish to stay up to date on the regulatory changes introduced in 2016, 2017, and 2021.
The objectives of the course are:
Professional technical updating in accordance with the regulatory changes that came into force in 2017 and 2018, specifically the new standards: UNI EN 13241:2016, UNI EN 12604:2021, and UNI EN 12453:2017.
The course program includes:
- General aspects of CE marking and the new Construction Products Regulation CPR 305/2011;
- The conformity assessment system required by the standard, type testing (ITT), unique products, and simplified procedures;
- The product standard UNI EN 13241:2016 for industrial, commercial, garage doors and gates;
- Assessment of mechanical risks related to gates, including photo reviews of various types of gates, technical videos, and new illustrative diagrams, according to the updated standards UNI EN 12604:2021 and UNI EN 12453:2017;
- Presentation of the new documentation for CE marking of manual closures and the CONFABIT system, verified and validated by the third-party notified body T2i;
- Presentation of the updated ITT sample tables with new models and new solutions under assessment system 3;
- Presentation of the reserved area on the website www.confabit.it, and the new tool that allows automatic verification of structures and submission of CE marking requests for gates;
- The new procedure for managing existing non-CE marked gates, validated by a third-party notified body;
- Final verification through a questionnaire and issuance of a certificate of attendance.
